The Anchorage Glacier Pilots beat up on the Alaska Goldpanners, 15-5

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots (20-11) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 15-5 landslide win over the Alaska Goldpanners (13-15) at Mulcahy Field.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots scored four runs in the eighth on a solo home run by Jeff Kremer, an error, and a two-run error.

Kevin Cornelius racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Chad Carroll was hot from the plate for the Alaska Goldpanners. Carroll went 3-5 and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

John Richy got his first win for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Jack Vander Linden ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.
