Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Alaska Goldpanners (5-6) outscored the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (7-6) 15-10.
The teams totaled 29 hits in the game.
Blake Miller racked up five RBIs on four hits for the Alaska Goldpanners. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the third inning, and singled in the third and fifth innings.
Kevin Swick had two extra-base hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the seventh inning.
Patrick McGrath recorded his first win for the Alaska Goldpanners even though he allowed five runs over five innings. McGrath struck out six, walked five and gave up three hits.
Luke Bublitz was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in two innings, walked none and struck out four.
