Early lead not enough for the Alaska Goldpanners, drop 5-4 decision to the Anchorage Glacier Pilots

The Alaska Goldpanners (4-5) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (6-5) roared back to steal a 5-4 victory at Growden Memorial Park.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots took the lead in the seventh inning on an RBI single by Axel Johnson.

Micah Green did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, reaching base two times. He doubled in the seventh inning.

Matt Munson put together a nice outing. Munson gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Carl Robinson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Alaska Goldpanners, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
