Jon Maciel kept the Alaska Goldpanners (1-3) off the board during his six innings of work and the Peninsula Oilers (7-1) beat the Alaska Goldpanners, 8-0.

Maciel struck out four and allowed no walks and one hit.

The Peninsula Oilers blew out the Alaska Goldpanners thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. The Peninsula Oilers scored four runs in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Alex Staehely, , a two-run single by Riley Heinzer, and a single by Nate Ring.

It was a good day at the plate for the Peninsula Oilers' Staehely. Staehely went 3-4 and scored one run.

Tanner Mendonca couldn't get it done on the bump for the Alaska Goldpanners, taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
