The Rockland Boulders (46-51) outlasted the Worcester Tornadoes (28-69) on Wednesday after seven lead changes, squeaking out a 7-4 win at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitto.
Keith Brachold racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rockland Boulders. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.
Pat Moran picked up the win for the Rockland Boulders. Moran pitched eight innings and allowed four earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out two.
Mike Mullen was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
