A walk-off single from Sebastien Boucher brought home the winning run for the Quebec Capitales (62-32) in a 5-4 victory over the Lincoln Saltdogs at Le Stade Municipal on Tuesday.
Boucher racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Quebec Capitales. He singled in the first and ninth innings.
Jonathan Malo was solid at the plate for the Quebec Capitales. Malo went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
A bright spot for the Lincoln Saltdogs in the defeat was Ryan Sheldon, who allowed only one run while striking out six.
TJ Stanton got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.
PJ Zocchi took the loss for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
