Bobby Blevins held the Newark Bears (20-49) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Rockland Boulders (37-31) to a 8-0 victory.

Blevins struck out three and allowed two walks and four hits.

The Rockland Boulders blew out the Newark Bears thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Rockland Boulders scored three runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Brandon Pinckney and a two-run home run by Keith Brachold.

Brachold racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Rockland Boulders.

Victor Gonzalez was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out one.
