The Quebec Capitales cruise past the Newark Bears, 11-3

The Newark Bears (17-43) didn't stand a chance on Friday, as the Quebec Capitales (40-19) captured a blowout 11-3 win at Le Stade Municipal.

A sacrifice fly by Jonathan Malo and a solo home run by Sebastien Boucher helped the Quebec Capitales score four runs in the third. The Quebec Capitales had four hits in the inning.

Boucher racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Quebec Capitales.

Jeff Duda picked up the win for the Quebec Capitales. Duda allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Mike Petrowski was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked five and struck out one.
