The Gary SouthShore RailCats trailed by four in the seventh, but the Gary SouthShore RailCats recovered thanks to a key two-run blast in the eighth inning from Ryan Babineau to pull out a 7-6 win over the Worcester Tornadoes (17-35) at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitto on Friday.

With the Gary SouthShore RailCats trailing by one, Babineau came to the plate and homered, bringing home Brian Kolb.

Babineau racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. He homered in the eighth inning.

Matt Forgatch rocked the Worcester Tornadoes with two home runs. Forgatch went 2-5 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Forgatch homered in the first and eighth innings.

Marco Gonzalez got the win for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. He allowed three runs over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered five hits.

Nick Serino (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed one run.
