Edmondson stars as the Worcester Tornadoes defeat the El Paso Diablos, 11-10

Jerod Edmondson hit two home runs to carry the Worcester Tornadoes (15-32) to an 11-10 win over the El Paso Diablos at Cohen Stadium.

The two teams combined for 21 runs and 27 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using nine pitchers in total.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the eighth, with seven lead changes.

The Worcester Tornadoes finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. A wild pitch scored Brandon Pinckney to give the Worcester Tornadoes the lead for good.

Matt McDonald put together a nice outing. The El Paso Diablos managed just one hit off of McDonald, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Cameron Monger, Johnny Welch, Edmondson and Chris Torres helped lead the Worcester Tornadoes. They combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.

Kyle Cremers took the loss for the El Paso Diablos. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
