The New Jersey drub the Newark, 16-4

The New Jersey (19-11) pounded the Newark (10-21) on Tuesday 16-4 at Bears _ Eagles Riverfront Stadi.

The New Jersey scored seven runs in the eighth on an RBI double by Matt Cusick, a wild pitch, an error, a sacrifice fly by Chris Curran, and a three-run double by Angel Berroa.

Berroa racked up four RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey.

The Newark's lineup had no answer for Dustin Birosak. Birosak held the Newark hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one.

Jon Kibler recorded his fourth win of the year for the New Jersey. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked five and surrendered five hits.

Pedro Rivera (1-4) took the loss for the Newark. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.

The New Jersey hammered the Newark pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 14 hits, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
