The Grand Prairie AirHogs (53-47) blew out the Amarillo Sox (46-54) 8-2 on Monday at QuikTrip Park after pouring on five runs in the second inning.

Brian Myrow went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first and fourth innings.

Josh Strawn picked up the win for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. Strawn allowed no earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

Jake Luce had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fifth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Ryan Mitchell (8-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked none and struck out two.
