The Kansas City T-Bones take out the Amarillo Sox with help from De La Garza, 8-4

The Kansas City T-Bones (49-47) beat the Amarillo Sox (45-51) 8-4 on Thursday at Amarillo National Bank Sox Stad behind Adam De La Garza, who went 2-3.

He singled in the third inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

Jonathan Cisneros had a hot bat for the Amarillo Sox. Cisneros went 1-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

The Kansas City T-Bones couldn't get anything going as long as Trent Lare was pitching. The Kansas City T-Bones managed just one hit off of Lare, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Shaun Garceau improved to 9-6 on the year by picking up the win for the Kansas City T-Bones. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Matt Lackie (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out six.
