The Grand Prairie AirHogs (49-46) blew out the Sioux Falls Pheasants (42-52) 9-2 on Tuesday at QuikTrip Park after pouring on five runs in the first inning.

Jonny Kaplan racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Alain Quijano picked up the win for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. Quijano pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out five.

Peter Gehle (6-9) took the loss for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.
