Karr Jr.'s walk-off solo blast send the Laredo Lemurs home winners, 8-7

A walk-off solo home run from Palmer Karr Jr. brought home the winning run for the Laredo Lemurs (39-41) in an 8-7 victory over the Grand Prairie AirHogs in 11 innings at Uni-Trade Stadium on Sunday.

Karr Jr. got on base two times in the game for the Laredo Lemurs. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the eleventh inning.

Jairo Perez rocked the Laredo Lemurs with two home runs. Perez went 3-4 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Perez homered in the fourth and eighth innings.

Chaz Roe recorded his second win of the year for the Laredo Lemurs. Roe struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Justin Dowdy couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Grand Prairie AirHogs (44-37), taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.

The Laredo Lemurs' Karr Jr., Jimmy Mojica, Brian Peterson and Stephen Pearson combined for seven hits and six RBIs.
