Sadler leads the Kansas City T-Bones to 12-5 win over the Newark Bears

An impressive effort by Ray Sadler lifted the Kansas City T-Bones (42-36) to a 12-5 win over the Newark Bears on Wednesday at Bears_Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

Sadler rocked the Newark Bears with two home runs. Sadler went 2-5 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Sadler homered in the first and eighth innings.

The Kansas City T-Bones turned the win into a rout with four runs in the eighth.

Orlando Mercado racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Newark Bears. He singled in the third and seventh innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Devin Anderson recorded his seventh win of the year for the Kansas City T-Bones. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Anderson struck out two, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Omar Javier took the loss for the Newark Bears. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out three.
