Chris Roberson collected four hits as the Winnipeg Goldeyes (41-29) took home an 8-4 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones (39-33) at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on Thursday.
He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.Matthew Rusch improved to 7-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered six hits.
Lucas Irvine (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
