The Wichita Wingnuts (42-29) took the last of four lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Amarillo Sox (35-37), securing a 8-3 victory on Monday at Amarillo National Bank Sox Stad.

Steve Carrillo racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wichita Wingnuts. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Jake Opitz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Amarillo Sox. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Ryan Hinson got the win, running his season record to 7-4. He allowed three runs over six innings. Hinson struck out three, walked four and gave up eight hits.

Chuck Lofgren (4-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked one and struck out three.
