A loss looked likely for the El Paso Diablos (21-34) when they trailed by no runs in the tenth inning, but the El Paso Diablos were able to capture the lead back with a an error in the sixteenth inning, spurring the El Paso Diablos to an 11-9 win over the Amarillo Sox (31-26) at Amarillo National Bank Sox Stad on Tuesday.
It was a good day at the plate for the El Paso Diablos' Muse. Muse went 2-8 and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth and eighth innings.
Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 20 runs and 37 hits, including zero extra base hits. Both bullpens were busy with 17 pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.
Kyle Cremers improved to 3-3 on the year by picking up the win for the El Paso Diablos. Cremers struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.
Cliff Springston was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
