Chris Salamida kept the Sioux Falls Pheasants (25-23) off the board during his six innings of work and the Winnipeg Goldeyes (28-20) beat the Sioux Falls Pheasants, 7-1.

Salamida allowed six hits, three walks and struck out one.

The offense exploded for the the Winnipeg Goldeyes in the fifth. In the inning the Winnipeg Goldeyes scored five runs.

Yurendell de Caster racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He singled in the first, fifth, and eighth innings.

Rod Scurry ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out two.
