A walk-off sacrifice fly from Brian Bistagne brought home the winning run for the Sioux City Explorers (20-25) in a 4-3 victory over the Gary SouthShore RailCats (16-28) in 10 innings at Lewis _ Clark Park on Tuesday.

Bistagne racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Sioux City Explorers. He homered in the third inning.

Ray Serrano had a hot bat for the Sioux City Explorers. Serrano went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth and ninth innings.

Chris Bodishbaugh got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Chris Allen (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
