Chris Roberson hit two home runs to carry the Winnipeg Goldeyes (24-15) to a 7-2 win over the Sioux City Explorers (18-23) at Shaw Park.

Tony Butler had an impressive outing against the Sioux City Explorers' lineup. The Sioux City Explorers managed just three hits off of Butler, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Ryan Priddy racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Sioux City Explorers. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Andrew Snowdon (0-2) took the loss for the Sioux City Explorers. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out four.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes' Jon Weber, Kyle Day and Roberson combined for six hits and six RBIs.
