Reymond Cruz held the Sioux Falls Pheasants (19-17) scoreless for six innings to boost the El Paso Diablos (9-27) to a 5-2 victory.

Cruz allowed four hits, no walks and struck out seven.

Jonathan Cisneros racked up two RBIs on one hit for the El Paso Diablos. He homered in the seventh inning.

Alan DeRatt ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
