Ryan Sheldon kept the Winnipeg (18-7) off the board during his eight innings of work and the Lincoln (12-15) beat the Winnipeg, 5-2.
Sheldon struck out four and allowed two walks and six hits.
Jared McDonald had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings and singled in the seventh inning.
Kyle Day was solid at the plate for the Winnipeg. Day went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the sixth, eighth, and ninth innings.
Andrew E. Walker ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
The Lincoln were sparked by Tommy Collaro and McDonald, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
