A six-run explosion in the fourth inning hoisted the New Jersey to a 9-2 win over the St Paul (10-9) at Yogi Berra Stadium on Wednesday.

Nick Giarraputo racked up two RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Jon Kibler picked up the win for the New Jersey. Kibler allowed one earned run, four hits and four walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Anthony Clagget ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.
