The Gary SouthShore (13-13) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Sioux Falls (12-14) roared back to steal a 4-1 victory at Sioux Falls Stadium.

A solo home run by Mark Shorey gave the Sioux Falls the lead in the sixth inning.

Cristian Guerrero had a hot bat for the Sioux Falls. Guerrero went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Mark Michael got the win for the Sioux Falls thanks to six strikeouts. Michael allowed one earned run on five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Morgan Coombs was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
