Rusch allows no runs to lead the Winnipeg past the Lincoln 9-0

Matthew Rusch held the Lincoln (15-22) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Winnipeg (24-15) to a 9-0 victory.

Rusch struck out five and allowed one walk and five hits.

The Winnipeg blew out the Lincoln thanks to 12 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Winnipeg scored four runs in the fifth on a two-run single by David Narodowski, a triple by Price Kendall, a single by Chris Roberson, and a double by Jon Weber.

Kendall racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Winnipeg.

Pete Parise couldn't get it done on the hill for the Lincoln, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
