The USSSA Pride (10-9) and the Carolina Diamonds (7-12) exchanged the lead four times on Saturday, but the USSSA Pride ended up on top with an 11-6 win over the Carolina Diamonds.

The USSSA Pride took the lead in the fourth inning and held on for the victory. Scored Ashley Charters and gave the USSSA Pride the lead for good.

Tonya Callahan racked up four RBIs on two hits for the USSSA Pride. She homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Carolina Diamonds had no answer for Cat Osterman, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Carolina Diamonds managed just two hits off of Osterman, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during her 2 1/3 innings of work.

Brittany Mack got her second win for the USSSA Pride despite allowing six runs over 4 2/3 innings. She struck out four, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Sara Plourde couldn't get it done in the circle for the Carolina Diamonds, taking a loss. She allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out five.
