The Chicago Bandits (3-1) had a tough outing on Friday, as the USSSA Pride (1-3) dominated in a 9-3 win at Rosemont Stadium.
The USSSA Pride scored four runs in the fifth on an RBI double by Jamee Juarez, an RBI single by Jenn Salling, a groundout by Natasha Watley, and an RBI single by Caitlin Lowe.
The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.
The USSSA Pride pulled out the win thanks to a strong third inning. An error scored Andrea Duran and gave the USSSA Pride the lead for good.
