Fifth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the York Revolution, 7-1

A four-run explosion in the fifth inning carried the York Revolution (51-49) to a 7-1 win over the Somerset Patriots at TD Bank Ballpark on Monday.

Andres Perez racked up four RBIs on two hits for the York Revolution. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Chris Cody picked up the win for the York Revolution. Cody allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Jon Kibler ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out three.
