Castro's ground out propels the York Revolution past the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, 8-4

The York Revolution (48-45)'s four first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home an 8-4 win over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (43-49) on Sunday at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

Ramon Castro racked up four RBIs on three hits for the York Revolution. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

Jeremy Owens had two extra-base hits for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Corey Thurman got the win, running his season record to 10-3. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Joe Gannon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked two and struck out none.
