The York Revolution jump on the Bridgeport Bluefish early and coast to 10-0 win

The York Revolution (37-38) jumped out to an early lead on the Bridgeport Bluefish (34-41) and captured a 10-0 victory on Tuesday at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

The game was decided quickly as the York Revolution exerted their will early with five runs in the first three innings.

An RBI single by Travis Scott, an RBI single by Scott Grimes, an RBI single by Danny Gonzalez, a two-run double by Jeff Fiorentino, and a single by Liu Rodriguez in the second inning helped the York Revolution put some runs on the board early.

James Shanks reached base two times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning.

Chris Waters struck out six hitters en route to the the York Revolution win. The York Revolution's pitcher gave up just three hits over five shutout innings.

Chris Hayes ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
