A five-run explosion in the fifth inning carried the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (22-29) to a 9-2 win over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (25-26) at The Ball Park on Tuesday.

Grayson Porter racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide relied on Tyler Laverriere to eat up innings en route to the win. Laverriere pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and two walks while striking out five.

Matthew Cook (0-5) took the loss for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out six.
