Parker helps the North Shore Navigators down the Pittsfield Suns 8-3

Pat Parker collected three hits as the North Shore Navigators (31-19) took home an 8-3 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (26-24) at Fraser Field on Tuesday.

He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Bobby Dean's four strikeouts were enough to push the North Shore Navigators past the Pittsfield Suns. The North Shore Navigators' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

The North Shore Navigators had no answer for Adam Krebs, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Krebs gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Matt Timoney (4-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
