Apolinar De La Cruz went 2-4, helping the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (21-15) to a 4-1 victory over the Seacoast Mavericks (19-19) on Tuesday at Bert George.

Ryan Walker ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
