The Nashua Silver Knights (28-9) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Pittsfield Suns (19-19) roared back to steal a 2-1 victory at Holman Stadium.

The Pittsfield Suns took the lead in the eighth inning on an RBI double by Travis Smith.

The Nashua Silver Knights had no answer for Shane Beauchemin, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Beauchemin gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Matt Houston (1-1) took the loss for the Nashua Silver Knights. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.
