The Brockton Rox (15-17) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the Nashua Silver Knights (27-7) on Wednesday.

An RBI single by Jon Minucci gave the Nashua Silver Knights the lead in the fifth inning.

James Katsiroubas was hot from the plate for the Nashua Silver Knights. Katsiroubas went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth innings.

Nick Poore picked up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. Poore allowed no earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Sean Ryan led the Brockton Rox's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Joe Fasano (1-2) took the loss for the Brockton Rox. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
