The Nashua Silver Knights offense too much for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide in 8-1 rout

The Nashua Silver Knights (33-11) shut the door early on the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (19-26), capturing an 8-1 victory on Thursday at The Ball Park.

The game was decided quickly as the Nashua Silver Knights exerted their will early with five runs in the first three innings.

A two-run single by Rays Roman during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Nashua Silver Knights.

James Katsiroubas had a hot bat for the Nashua Silver Knights. Katsiroubas went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, and eighth innings.

Christopher Good's eight strikeouts were enough to push the Nashua Silver Knights past the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. Good allowed no earned runs on five hits and one walk over five innings.

Oliver Van Zant was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
