The Nashua Silver Knights beat up on the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide, 11-1

The Nashua Silver Knights (10-5) jumped out to an early lead on the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (7-7) and captured an 11-1 victory on Wednesday at The Ball Park.

With five runs in the first three innings, the Nashua Silver Knights left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run single by Jon Minucci, a two-run single by Josh Treff, and an RBI double by Rays Roman during the first inning helped the Nashua Silver Knights put some runs on the board early.

The Nashua Silver Knights came out swinging, scoring five runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide early.

Chris Shaw racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Lamarre Rey racked up six strikeouts in the the Nashua Silver Knights win. Rey allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks over six innings.

Dillon Ryan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
