Jake Mahon helped the Richmond RiverRats take the lead for good in the eleventh inning. Justin Pearson was hit by a pitch to start the eleventh. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Derek Trovillion. Finally, Mahon came to the plate with the score tied at eight, and singled, plating Pearson.
Mahon racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Richmond RiverRats. He singled in the third, seventh, and eleventh innings.
Jake Welch got on base four times in the game for the Richmond RiverRats. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Dylan Sheldon recorded his second win of the year for the Richmond RiverRats. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Jason Revesz ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
