The Butler Blue Sox get on top of the Richmond RiverRats early but can't hang on in 7-2 loss

The Butler Blue Sox (3-3) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Richmond RiverRats (3-3) roared back to steal a 7-2 victory at McBride Stadium.

The Richmond RiverRats took the lead in the fourth inning on a three-run home run by Cody Campbell.

Campbell racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Richmond RiverRats. He homered in the fourth inning.

Peter Spear got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over six innings. Spear struck out three, walked three and gave up six hits.

Chris Marangon (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
