An ace performance by Dylan Lynn spurred the Richmond RiverRats (4-6) to a 6-4 win over the Butler Blue Sox (5-5) on Friday at Pullman Park.

Lynn racked up 11 strikeouts in the the Richmond RiverRats win. The Richmond RiverRats' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

The Richmond RiverRats would not relinquish the lead as the Butler Blue Sox were unable to weather a five-run ninth inning deficit.

The Butler Blue Sox scored three runs in the ninth on a fielder's choice and two singles. Still, the Butler Blue Sox couldn't catch the Richmond RiverRats.

Justin Pearson did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Richmond RiverRats, reaching base four times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Jared Locke (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out eight, and allowed two runs.
