The Cotuit Kettleers finally managed to grab the lead after a strong seventh inning. Scored Tim Kiene and Patrick Biondi and gave the Cotuit Kettleers the lead for good.

Aramis Garcia put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Kaiana Eldredge racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Falmouth Commodores. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Adam McCreery got the win, running his season record to 1-1. McCreery struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Trent Szkutnik (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
