The Chatham Anglers get 10 strikeouts from Brown in 6-4 win over the Harwich Mariners

Aaron Brown hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Brown threw six scoreless innings to carry the Chatham Anglers (20-21) to a 6-4 victory over the Harwich Mariners (26-16) at Veterans Field.

The Chatham Anglers held off the Harwich Mariners, as the Harwich Mariners were unable to overcome a six-run fifth inning deficit.

The Harwich Mariners scored four runs in the eighth on an RBI double by Phil Ervin and a three-run home run by Matt Reida. Despite their efforts, the Harwich Mariners couldn't get over the hump.

Adam Engel racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Chatham Anglers. He homered in the fifth inning.

Eddie Campbell couldn't get it done on the hill for the Harwich Mariners, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out seven.
