Garcia's gives the Cotuit Kettleers walk-off win over the Chatham Anglers, 3-2

A walk-off from Aramis Garcia brought home the winning run for the Cotuit Kettleers (24-12) in a 3-2 victory over the Chatham Anglers (17-19) at Lowell Park on Monday.

Garcia was solid at the plate for the Cotuit Kettleers. Garcia went 1-3. He doubled in the fifth inning.

Patrick Biondi led the Cotuit Kettleers' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the sixth and ninth innings.

Brandon Bixler baffled the Chatham Anglers, striking out eight batters. Bixler allowed one earned run, two hits and one walk over 4 2/3 innings.

Alex Calbick was hot from the plate for the Chatham Anglers. Calbick went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning.

Jordan Smith got the win, running his season record to 2-3. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Ryan Thompson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
