Fortunato helps the Hyannis Harbor Hawks down the Chatham Anglers 4-2

Pat Fortunato went 2-3, helping the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (13-18) to a 4-2 victory over the Chatham Anglers (15-16) on Sunday at McKeon Park.

He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Andrew Smithmyer looked sharp on the mound. Smithmyer held the Chatham Anglers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Alex Calbick was solid at the plate for the Chatham Anglers. Calbick went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks' lineup had no answer for Jaime Schultz. Schultz held the Hyannis Harbor Hawks hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Josh Walker recorded his second win of the year for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He allowed two runs over six innings. Walker struck out five, walked one and gave up six hits.

Ryan Thompson was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
