The Harwich Mariners' Sciacca comes through in the clutch, upends the Chatham Anglers, 7-3

Tyler Sciacca drove in the winning run to give the Harwich Mariners (20-11) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Harwich Mariners hung on to beat the Chatham Anglers (15-15) 7-3 on Saturday.

With the score tied at two, Sciacca came to the plate and hit a grand slam, bringing home Brian Ragira, Eric Jagielo and Phil Ervin.

Sciacca racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Harwich Mariners. He homered in the sixth inning.

The Chatham Anglers had no answer for CK Irby, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Chatham Anglers managed just one hit off of Irby, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Eddie Campbell got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. Campbell struck out four, walked three and gave up four hits.

Thomas Lawrence (2-1) took the loss for the Chatham Anglers. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out five.
