The Cotuit Kettleers uses big fifth inning to beat the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, 7-1

A four-run explosion in the fifth inning spurred the Cotuit Kettleers (17-12) to a 7-1 win over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (12-18) at Lowell Park on Saturday.

Tony Kemp did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Cotuit Kettleers, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He homered in the fourth inning.

Kyle Finnegan racked up six strikeouts in the the Cotuit Kettleers win. Finnegan allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks over five innings.

Pat Fortunato went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He singled in the third, fifth, and eighth innings.

Tyler Barnette (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
