The Wareham Gatemen (12-15) outlasted the Chatham Anglers (15-12) on Monday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 10-6 win at Veterans Field.
Daniel Palka racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Wareham Gatemen. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the ninth inning.
Colby Suggs put together a nice outing. The Chatham Anglers managed just one hit off of Suggs, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.
Alex Calbick racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Chatham Anglers. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth innings.
Nicholas Rumbelow recorded his first win of the year for the Wareham Gatemen. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered one hit.
Tate Parrish ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
