Thursday was a great day for Sean Manaea, as Manaea struck out 13 batters to carry the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (8-16) to an 8-2 victory over the Wareham Gatemen (10-14) at Spillane Field.

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks blew out the Wareham Gatemen thanks to 14 hits, including zero extra base hits. A three-run home run by Blake Austin delivered the runs in the fifth. The Hyannis Harbor Hawks had three hits in the inning.

Brandon Trinkwon racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third, sixth, and seventh innings.

Brad Kuntz couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Wareham Gatemen, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
